Port Of Leith Distillery

While waiting for Scotland's first vertical distillery to be built it seemed appropriate to share and enjoy the fine Oloroso sherry that will flavour the oak casks in which Leith Distillery's new whisky will mature. They located their chosen casks from a family owned traditional bodega in Jerez, Spain and rather than ignore the liquid that will signify the delicate tones of their soon to be Single Malt Whisky, Leith Distillery decided to make it their very first product.

The packaging displays the historical links that Leith has with Jerez and the whisky industry. Contained within the graphical illustrations is the journey from Jerez to Leith with landmarks from both towns - rolling vineyards and Andalusian architecture travelling to Edinburgh castle, Scottish landscapes and a cityscape from Leith Distillery's impending viewpoint.
